The Hotel Database Challenge
This was the biggest technical challenge. Tourists know their hotel name — "Sandals Montego Bay" or "Riu Negril" — but they don't know transfer zones or distances.
Our Solution: Smart Hotel Lookup
We built a searchable database of 150+ hotels, each tagged with its zone and any special pricing considerations. Customer starts typing, suggestions appear, they select, price calculates instantly.

Key Learnings
Building for transfer companies taught us several things:
Hotel lookup is critical. Tourists think in hotel names, not zones. The system must translate instantly.
WhatsApp > Email. Tourists prefer WhatsApp. They're often traveling, checking email is a hassle. WhatsApp is immediate.
Speed wins bookings. The transfer with the fastest quote often wins. Instant beats "we'll get back to you."
Mobile is primary. Desktop is secondary. Design for phones first, then scale up.
