Every Bajan stylist knows the Saturday no-show: the 2PM that confirmed in DMs on Tuesday and never came. A deposit at booking changes it, and a booking page is how you take one.
What the booking page needs
- Services with durations and prices (so the calendar blocks the right time).
- A calendar per stylist or chair, with your own hours and breaks.
- A deposit — 20–50% — by card or transfer, before the slot is held.
- Reminders by WhatsApp or email the day before, with a reschedule link.
- Client notes: colour formula, allergies, last visit.
- A link that goes in your Instagram bio and your Google profile.
Moving clients off DM booking
- Change the bio link and the pinned post: "book here, deposit holds your slot".
- Reply to DM booking requests with the link for two weeks. After that, most self-book.
- Keep a walk-in gap in the calendar for the regulars who will never use a link.
What it costs
US$229 to build, US$59/month with hosting, care and the booking engine, however many bookings. Compare that with one lost Saturday slot a week.
- Same system; services and durations differ.
- Group bookings (bridal parties) and packages can be set up.
- Mobile stylists: service area instead of an address, travel fee by zone.

Frequently asked
Can clients pay the deposit by bank transfer?
Yes — card through a Caribbean gateway, or transfer with the booking held until you confirm.
What if a client cancels?
Your policy, enforced by the system: deposit kept, moved, or refunded by the cut-off you set.
Do I need a website or just a booking page?
A booking page is a one-page website: services, prices, photos, book. That is the US$229 build.
Does it work with my existing Instagram?
Yes — the booking link goes in the bio and in every post. Instagram stays your marketing; the page takes the bookings.
