STEP 2 · WEBSITE, BUT NO CUSTOMERS
Ads buy speed. SEO buys ownership. Most owners ask "which is better?" — the useful question is "which one fits the step my business is on right now?"
What paid ads actually do
A Google Search ad puts you in front of someone typing "car rental Montego Bay" tonight. A Meta click-to-WhatsApp ad puts your offer in front of a parish, an age group, an interest. The click costs money whether or not the person buys. That is the deal: fast, measurable, and gone the moment the budget ends.
Right for: a launch, a slow month, a specific offer with a deadline, and any business at Step 3 or later — one that can already handle the enquiry (prices on the page, WhatsApp answered inside the hour, a booking or order system behind it).
Wrong for: a site that cannot convert. Sending paid clicks to a page with no price and no button is the most expensive way to learn that lesson.
What SEO actually does
SEO makes Google (and now ChatGPT) confident enough to show your business for the searches people already make — "dentist Mandeville", "wedding cake Kingston", "airport transfer Ocho Rios". It is slow because trust is slow: a fast site, a complete Google Business Profile, real reviews, prices in the text, pages for each service, and useful local content. Then it compounds. Ezy Web Pro's own site ranks page one for hundreds of Jamaican searches and brings in thousands of Google clicks a quarter — from content, not ad spend.
Right for: any business people search for by service and parish. Wrong for: anyone who needs customers this week, or who will cancel in month two.
The honest order
- Fix the foundation (Step 1–2). Prices on the page. WhatsApp on every page. Loads in under three seconds on Digicel. Google Business Profile complete with photos, hours and a review link.
- Reviews. Ask every happy customer, with the link, the same day. Free, and it moves both the map and your conversion rate.
- Ads — once the site can convert (Step 3). Start small: J$1,000–3,000 a day on one offer, one audience. Kill what doesn't work by Friday.
- SEO — for the long game. Six months minimum. Service pages, local content, technical fixes, a monthly report you can read.
What each costs at Ezy
- Google Business Profile management — J$10,000/mo (the cheapest first move)
- Ads management — J$25,000/mo + your ad budget, no long contract
- SEO Growth — J$25,000/mo, six-month minimum
- Free directory listing on a page that already ranks for your business type — J$0
- If customers can't buy or book from the page, fix the page before spending on traffic.
- If the business is real but the cash isn't, look at Ezy Rescue — J$0 up front.
- If you have the cash and the system, run ads and SEO together: ads for this month, SEO for next year.

J$1,000–3,000 a day on one offer for two weeks tells you more than a big budget spread thin.
Does SEO guarantee page one?
No one can guarantee rankings. What we guarantee is the work, the report, and honesty about what is moving.
