See Open Roles →I started freelancing from Jamaica back in 2012 — long before "remote work from the Caribbean" was a normal thing. My first gigs paid as little as $3 an hour. I took them anyway, learned everything I could, and kept raising my standard.
Over 14 years on Upwork I earned $200,000+ and worked my rate up to $250 an hour. Along the way I contracted with Automattic — the company behind WordPress.com, Tumblr and Pressable — working on infrastructure, design audits, UX and integrations for platforms used by millions.
That's what became Ezy Web Pro — my own software suite and delivery system, built for Jamaican and Caribbean businesses. Today we've built for 100+ companies, and the work keeps coming.
So now I'm doing the thing I wish someone had done for me when I was starting at $3/hour: building a team, handing people real gigs, real training, and a real path — so together we put Jamaica on the map as the place world-class web work comes from.
