STEP 2 · WEBSITE, BUT NO CUSTOMERS
Most "free directories" are either empty or full of junk, because nobody reads the submissions. Ours is small on purpose and reviewed by hand, which is why it ranks and why the businesses in it get found. This is the whole process, so you know what to expect before you submit.
Who can list
- Any business that serves customers in Jamaica or the wider Caribbean — a one-person operation counts.
- Registered or not: we ask for a real business name and a real contact; registration helps but is not required for a free listing.
- Businesses with a website, an Instagram, a Facebook page or just a WhatsApp number.
- Churches, schools, non-profits and associations.
What gets approved, what gets rejected
Approved: a recognisable business name, a category that fits, a parish or town, a one-line description a customer would understand, and a working link or number. Rejected: gibberish or placeholder names, descriptions copied from somewhere else, anything adult or gambling, "make money fast" schemes, and listings that are clearly for a business outside the region. If something is borderline we message you and ask.
What the free listing includes
- Your own page at ezywebpro.com/directory/<category>/<your-business>/ with your name, description, parish and category.
- A link to your website, Instagram or Facebook page.
- Your card on the category page and the parish page, where people browse.
- A place inside the guides for your industry — the "how to start a bakery" guide shows bakeries from the directory.
- A "Listed on the Jamaica Business Directory" badge you can paste on your site.
- No expiry, no card, no upsell wall.
What the paid tiers add
Featured listings start at J$5,000 a month and add a one-tap WhatsApp button on your card and page, top placement in your category, and a dofollow link. Professional (J$10,000) adds homepage rotation and more photos; Premium (J$20,000) adds a featured spot across related guides. None of it is required; the free listing is a full listing.
How to get the most out of it
- Write the description for a customer, not for Google: what you do, for whom, where. "Custom cakes and treats in Mandeville — order on WhatsApp" beats "Premier confectionery solutions".
- Use the exact same name and number as your Google Business Profile.
- Link to the page that converts: your booking or order page if you have one, your Instagram if you do not.
- Paste the badge on your website footer — the link back helps both pages rank.
- When you get your first review on Google, tell us; we add it to your page.
How approval works, step by step
- You submit the form (two minutes).
- It lands in our review queue the same minute.
- A person reads it, fixes obvious typos in the category or parish, and approves or asks a question by email.
- The listing goes live on the category page within a minute of approval; your own page is created on the next site update, usually within a day.
- You get an email with your link and the badge.

Frequently asked
Does it cost anything?
No. The free listing is free for good. Paid placements are optional and start at J$5,000 a month.
Can I update my listing later?
Yes — reply to your "listing is live" email or WhatsApp 876-804-4321 with the change. New website, new number, new description: all free.
Can I list more than one business?
Yes, one submission per business. Each gets its own page.
Why was my listing not approved?
Usually a placeholder name, no way to contact you, or a description we could not understand. We email you when that happens; fix it and resubmit.
