Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using our services
1. Introduction
Welcome to Ezy Web Pro. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Ezy Web Pro ("we", "us", "our") is a web design and software development company located in Mandeville, Jamaica. We provide website design, development, hosting, and related digital services to businesses primarily in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
1b. Who You Are Dealing With
Ezy Web Pro is a registered Jamaican business (sole proprietorship), owned and operated by Lee Alexander in Mandeville, Jamaica. We are registered to do business in Jamaica and operate under Jamaican law. Invoices, receipts and agreements are issued in that name.
2. Services
2.1 Web Design and Development
We provide custom website design and development services. Each project is unique and will be governed by a specific project proposal or agreement that outlines scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing.
2.2 Software Products
We offer software products including but not limited to:
- Ezy Loan Manager
- Ezy Car Rental
- Ezy Travels Pro
- Ezy Cart
- Ezy Courier
Each software product has its own licensing terms which will be provided upon purchase.
2.3 Training Services
We offer WordPress training courses. Training services are subject to availability and scheduling. Course content and pricing are as advertised at the time of booking.
3. Payment Terms
🧾 GCT: Ezy Web Pro is a licensed and registered Jamaican business. All quoted prices are exclusive of General Consumption Tax (GCT, currently 15%), which is added to every invoice as required by law.
3.1 Pricing
All prices are quoted in either Jamaican Dollars (JMD) or United States Dollars (USD) as specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any agreed-upon quote will be honored for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2 Payment Schedule
For web design projects:
- 50% deposit required to begin work
- 50% balance due upon project completion, before website goes live
For software subscriptions, payment is due according to the billing cycle selected (monthly or annually).
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept:
- Bank transfer (NCB, Scotiabank)
- Credit/Debit cards
- Lynk
- PayPal (for international clients)
- Cash (for local clients)
3.4 Late Payments
Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless otherwise specified. Late payments may result in service suspension or termination.
3b. Software Subscription Plans
Where a website is delivered with Ezy software (including but not limited to booking engines, Ezy Cart, AI receptionist, and automation features) on a monthly or annual plan, the software is licensed to the Client for the duration of the plan, not sold. The Client owns their website content, domain, and design deliverables. Plans are billed in advance, renew automatically, and may be cancelled at any time with notice before the next billing date; no refunds are issued for partial periods. On cancellation or non-payment beyond 14 days, plan-dependent software features are suspended and the website continues to operate as a standard site; features are restored when the plan is reinstated. Plan pricing is reviewed annually with 30 days' notice. Standalone software licenses purchased outright are governed by their own license terms.
3c. Price Changes and Earlier Agreements
Published prices, packages and plans may change over time as our products, templates and delivery model evolve. Prices apply to agreements made on or after the date they are published and are never retroactive: earlier projects were quoted on the scope, custom work and delivery model in place at the time, and remain governed by their own written quote. In line with §4, no refunds or price adjustments are issued on projects already started or delivered because a later package is priced differently. Existing clients are always eligible for current promotions, plan upgrades and loyalty pricing on new services.
3d. Ezy Tasks Marketplace
Ezy Tasks is a marketplace operated by Ezy Web Pro connecting clients with independent Jamaican freelancers. Posting is free. Clients fund each task in full into escrow before it is released to freelancers; funds are released to the freelancer when the client approves the delivered work or 72 hours after delivery if the client takes no action. One revision round is included per task. Disputes raised before release freeze the funds and are resolved by Ezy Web Pro at its reasonable discretion — release to the freelancer, refund to the client, or a split — and that decision is final within the marketplace. Tasks unclaimed for 7 days are refunded in full. Freelancers are independent contractors, not employees of Ezy Web Pro; on approval, the client owns the delivered work. Ezy Web Pro charges freelancers a 20% platform fee on released task value; payouts are made weekly by bank transfer (minimum J$2,000, 48-hour hold after release). Prohibited: illegal work, harvesting personal or login data, adult content, and anything violating Jamaican law; such posts are removed and funds refunded.
3e. Plan Tiers and Fair Use
Monthly plans include the software, hosting, storage, email sending and support for the tier purchased. Each engine is measured by one published usage metric (for example vehicles, products, providers, bookings per month or active loans). When usage exceeds a tier limit for 30 consecutive days, the client is asked to move to the next tier; Ezy Web Pro will not suspend a live service for exceeding a limit. Base-tier prices are the published prices; tier prices may be reviewed with 30 days' notice. Existing clients keep their current price for 90 days from the introduction of tiers (September 2026) and then move to the tier matching their usage.
4. Project Terms
Our commitment: 100% customer satisfaction on the agreed scope — we do not offer refunds on work already started, but we keep working until you are satisfied with what was agreed. Changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted and approved in writing before work continues.
🚫 No-Refund Policy (please read before paying your deposit): Because we begin work immediately upon receipt of your deposit and required content, all payments are final and non-refundable once a project has started. Our fast-delivery model means significant work is completed within hours of your deposit — by paying, you confirm you are ready to proceed and committed to the project. Please be certain before you commit; we certainly are.
⏱ The 7-Day Clock: Our 7–14 day website delivery timeline begins when BOTH your deposit AND your required content (logo, text, photos, and any requested materials) have been received. Delays in providing content extend the timeline accordingly and do not constitute grounds for refund. During periods of high build volume, quoted timelines may be extended; any extension will be communicated before your deposit is taken.
🤝 Client Commitment: We work with businesses that are serious about growth. You agree to provide content promptly, respond to reasonable requests within 2 business days, and complete your single included revision round within 7 days of delivery. Projects inactive for 30 days due to client non-response may be closed as delivered, with the balance due.
4.1 Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing all content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner
- Providing feedback within agreed timeframes
- Obtaining necessary licenses for any content provided
- Ensuring accuracy of information provided
4.2 Revisions
Website projects include a reasonable number of revisions as specified in the project proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
4.3 Timeline
Project timelines begin once we receive the deposit and all required materials from the client. Delays in providing content or feedback may extend the project timeline.
4.4 Project Abandonment
If a project is inactive for more than 30 days due to client non-response, the project may be considered abandoned. Deposits are non-refundable in cases of abandonment.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final website design and custom code created specifically for their project. However:
- Third-party themes, plugins, and software remain the property of their respective owners
- We retain the right to use general coding techniques and frameworks in other projects
- We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio
5.2 Software Licensing
Our software products are licensed, not sold. Licensing terms vary by product and subscription tier.
6. Warranties and Disclaimers
6.1 Service Warranty
We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. We provide a 30-day warranty on completed websites for bug fixes related to our work.
6.2 No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee specific results such as search engine rankings, traffic, or sales. While we follow best practices, results depend on many factors beyond our control.
6.3 Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the performance, reliability, or terms of third-party services including hosting providers, payment gateways, and plugin developers.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ezy Web Pro shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Damages resulting from third-party actions or services
- Issues arising from client-provided content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:
- All outstanding invoices become immediately due
- We will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning to another provider
- Subscription software access will be terminated at the end of the paid period
9. Confidentiality
We will treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to perform our services or as required by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Freelancer & Crew Terms (Ezy Tasks)
All freelancers, crew members, and task workers engaging with Ezy Web Pro through the Ezy Tasks platform or otherwise do so as independent contractors, not employees. Specifically:
No employment relationship. Completing tasks does not create an employment contract, partnership, or agency relationship with Ezy Web Pro. Freelancers are engaged and paid per completed, approved task only.
No benefits. Ezy Web Pro does not provide salaries, health or other insurance, pension or NIS contributions, paid leave, or any employment benefits. Freelancers are responsible for their own taxes, statutory contributions, equipment, and expenses.
No guaranteed work. Task availability varies. Either party may end the engagement at any time without notice or liability; completed and approved work is always paid at the posted rate on the normal payout schedule (Fridays).
Work product. Deliverables produced for paid tasks (research, content, video, data entry, and similar) become the property of Ezy Web Pro upon payment and may be used in its business and marketing.
Conduct. Fraudulent submissions, duplicate accounts, or misrepresentation of completed work result in removal from the platform and forfeiture of unapproved credits.
Ezy Web Pro is operated by Leroy Alexander as a sole proprietorship in Mandeville, Jamaica. Any future long-term engagements will also be under these independent-contractor terms unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
