Where to be listed so Google trusts you're real: the directories that matter in Jamaica, and the ones to ignore.
A citation is your name, address and phone on another site. Each consistent one is a vote that you exist. Inconsistent ones (old phone, old address) are votes against.
Google (done), Facebook page with matching details, Instagram bio with address, Yello / local directories, your parish chamber or association, industry directories (tourism boards, JHTA for hospitality), and the Ezy Web Pro business directory. Ten good ones beat a hundred spammy ones.
A blog post about you, a news mention, a supplier's 'where to buy' page, a client's testimonial page linking to you. One real link from a Jamaican site outranks fifty directory entries.
Audit five places you're listed for name/address/phone consistency, fix the mismatches, add two directories.
We run this exact routine for Jamaican businesses: Google Business Profile management J$10,000/mo — photos, posts, reviews, Q&A, monthly numbers. Pair it with a smart website from J$35,000 + plan and appear in the map box and the list.
